Importing firearms from the UK as an individual

Hi All, I am looking at rifles in the UK and there is some great value to be had, has anybody imported a firearm from the ik recently, either from a dealer or private indivividual, was it an easy process, what forwarding services are there? Thank you

This is a pain in the ass job, as the UK is now non EU and the British are utterly anal about firearms going out of the UK to places like Ireland.

Best is to get it transferred to a NI dealer and once you get the ROI license, get him to send it down to a dealer in the ROI and pick it up there.
